Postcard Of A British Theme

Summer Project : Postcard of a British Theme:
A small project given to us at the end of our first year, to consider and complete during our summer break in time for when we return.
A lot of events have or will happen this year, from the Queen's Diamond Jubilee to the Olympic and Paralympic games - all important historical events and obvious photographic opportunities which makes this such an interesting theme to be of topic. This is why I've opted to stray away from these subjects to a completely different topic altogether but still an important part of British History: Railways.

These are the chosen photographs I took of an abandoned railway in Bristol where the extraordinary British inventor was born - Isambard Kingdom Brunel - who built many railways, tunnels and bridges.
