Today I entered this competition which contained 4 categories: (All open themed)
1. A single photo
2. Photo story (2-5 images)
3. Photographic Video (45 seconds in length)
4. Motion snapshot
The category I chose was: Photo story (showing 2-5 images)
I entered the four images of the dresses from my narrative series on reality.
Short synopsis about these images:
My series of images create a sense of loss without the presence of a person, drawing focus to the clothing and how
these objects encapsulate memories and ideas. Emphasising on how clothing share
similar characteristics to people as time passes they become fragile, the
material qualities change and eventually degrade but the memory continues to exist.
