Experimentation: Fragment shoot with more natural light

Shoot 2: Fragments of the body: With natural light.

This is reacting the first shoot using more accessible natural light - to avoid flattening the images as seen in the previous shoot. For experimentation purposes into ideas in how to represent this subject matter for the whole body of work.

Shot with digital (D3100)
Taken on 9rd March 2013
(I also want explore this project using medium format for quality and a wider tonal range)

This is a shoot exploring the subject matter of the male body (which i am exploring for my second year final major project) The idea and purpose behind the shoot was to photograph the body as fragmentations changing angles, experimenting with perspective and composition to create abstract images of the human form but still recognisable. My final major project is focusing on various themes all relating to the body, looking at how the body is exploited in the media, an object to sell products. The idea is to create a series of work showing the true nature of the body portraying it as we should understand it, a form that is dynamic, capable of so many fascinating abilities; to heal, to grow the list goes on.
